Can I use appery.io as a backend for the site? E.g. if I want to create site based on twitter bootstrap template (e.g. this one http://premiumlayers.com/demos/orbit7...) and then use appery to display dynamic info (e.g. when I click on the image - i get it by requesting from DB, when i use slider with testimonials - i also query the db and etc.). So probably the question is - how to 'attach' mappings and services to such a custom page? Where should I upload it to use Appery shortcuts for mapping and etc.?

Yes, you can use Appery.io backend for any web/mobile site. Appery.io backend services (database, push, server code) are exposed via REST APIs. You can access it from any programming language.
If you are using a different UI technology and don't use our app builder, you don't get the nice mapping features, etc.
