Devices collection store data about device automatically after configuring push notification?

I have see the tutorial of push notification.In that they have mentioned that after linking the database, device information will be stored in Devices collection. I want to know that data is stored automatically if i follow that tutorial or i have to do extra things?

If you enable Push and add certificates, Appery.io automatically adds this device to a collection.
