Is there anything in the works for a picker like this? 
I think that a lot of people would find this as a useful component!

Could you please try using the attribute data-native-menu="true" for select component, or please check the Native Menu checkbox for this component in the editor of Appery.io. (http://demos.jquerymobile.com/1.4.0/s...)
