Google map not being centered on 2nd page load.

Not sure if anyone has seen this before ...

I've got a start screen (page 1) and a google map (page 2).
The app starts on the start screen (obviously!)

When I go to page 2 I run geo-location onload and a marker is plotted on the map and the marker appears in the centre of the map.

If I then go to page 1 from a menu item, and then return to page 2 the geo-location runs again, but this time the marker appears at the top left of the map and it isn't centered.

I assumed the same thing would happen for each page visit, but somehow it doesn't.

In case anyone else has this problem, I found the solution to be setting
"Use full screen refresh" on the click navigate event.
