How do I send push notifications from my app? I'll be creating a separate page wherein only people who have logged in can access it. But I want all the filters to be there too.

Kamal, I'd suggest you use the QuickBlox server-side interface - http://quickblox.com/developers/Simpl... (for iOS) or http://quickblox.com/developers/Simpl... (for Android) - there is a comprehencive tutorial along with a number of code samples. Hope that helps.
