Hello. I want to create an alarm clock app that will turn on a TV at a set time. I know I have to obtain an IR transceiver and integrate that into to code, but first things first.
How would I go a setup a Timer event that to trigger some code?

You can use JavaScript to setup a timer. JavaScript is the what you would use to add any app logic.

Ok. Thanks. So I would have to obtain the APIs for whatever Infrared dongle I use, and Appery should be able to access it?

Appery.io doesn't need to access it. Your apps runs in the browser, so any JavaScript you write/add -- you can use in your app.
