Invalid certificate chain error

Looks like something is wrong with your certificates... Push worked for me in your app.

Please have a look on certificates settings in app

iOS binary tab

Push notifications tab

So there are two different certificates. Do you have the same? Could you post screenshots?

Maryna - I created the iOS binary certificate from the iOS Distribution type certificate on the apple developers page, the provisioning profile from Distribution Provisioning Profile certificate, and the push certificate from the APNs Production iOS certificate. See images below. However, now I'm getting the attached error. What do you think? Image Image Image

Hi Jonah,

You certificate seems to be invalid or expired.

Please make sure you use valid certificate. Check Push notifications tab.
If there is a needed certificate specified, you can check your certificates and provisioning profile on
http://developer.apple.com

ok very cool. I got the notifications to work by switching to all development certificates and unchecking "release" and "production" check boxes under "App Settings."

now if I want to use distribution certificates and test that push notifications still work, is this possible? I tried switching to all the distribution certificates and checked the "release" and "production" check boxes under "App Settings." However, I got this error Image

Hi Jonah,

Unfortunately, distribution certificates can be tested only after publishing your app. That's okay, if it works with developer certificates. Developer certificates are for testing your application before uploading so you don't have to test with distribution certificates. Please add distribution and upload your app to App Store. I believe it should work properly.

Hi Marco,

As you can see in console, simulator doesn't support PushNotifications. This functionality must be tested on installed app.
